Evaluation by Swiss Assessments, Trainers Excellence (September 2009)

The past months lead to a consolidation of the activities (1. research, 2. assessment, coaching, outplacement, 3. intercultural trainings, speeches and events) as well as to an increasement of our contacts and clients.

During an extensive evaluation according the standards of the research group “Arbeitskreis Assessment Center” (AKAC) as competence center for assessments in Switzerland, CICB became qualified as one of the few institutes to perform assessments on the management level of the Swiss Railways Group (SBB).

A particular success are the common activities by Thomas Baumer (founder and chairman of CICB) and Dominik Neidhart (former team-member at Alinghi, now he is an internationally successful coach), from a two-hour impulse-presentation up to courses during several days. How intercultural challenges can be mastered in everyday life as well as under extreme conditions is disclosed in an impressing and sustainably motivating way.

Thomas Baumer became one of the top trainers of the international agency Trainers Excellence (for the languages German, English und French). With their highly demanding selection this network distinguishes itself from other trainer portals. The profile from Thomas Baumer is titled with success factors within other cultures - how differences become synergies.

During january 2010 the internet pages of CICB become a refreshment and partially new design (webdesign and graphics). These tasks are performed by the companies Comsulting and iVision. The CMS (content management system) is based on the program Joomla. The hosting is carried out by swissit. Beside the main internet address www.cicb.net, the same content is retrievable at www.cicb.ch and www.interkulturelle-kompetenz.ch.
